Our goal is to promote the well-being and equality of people around the world by educating the public about important issues that are being faced by global citizens, particularly women and the LGBT community. While there are many issues that we are currently concerned about, there are a few that are particularly close to our hearts and that we discuss frequently on our site. Here’s what you can expect to read about often here on our blog.
One of the issues that we want to educate the public about the most is human trafficking. Many people are not aware of just how many people are trafficked illegally as slaves each year. This is extremely dangerous and unhealthy, as well as being extremely traumatic for everyone involved. To prevent human trafficking as a citizen, it is important to be aware of the signs so that you can report it to the authorities when you see it. It is also important to support organizations that help victims of human trafficking as well.
Female healthcare, particularly reproductive healthcare, is extremely important for the overall health of our society, but it is often underfunded or even not available in some parts of the world. We aim to promote women’s healthcare and reproductive rights by talking about important issues and concerns that women face, offering solutions and advice for health concerns, and supporting organizations who promote women’s health.
Although the LGBT community has seen serious progress in terms of the rights that are available to them in many parts of the world, there is still a long way to go in terms of completely protecting LGBT freedoms and providing a safety and protection against discrimination. We support the LGBT community and LGBT organizations by providing them with a platform to speak out on important issues. We also provide tons of content and resource referrals for the LGBT community.
In many areas of the world, women do not have any laws that ensure they get equal pay for equal work, or that they are treated equally in terms of service or other situations. We want to promote equality for women, both legally and socially, by educating the public about gender equality, giving women a way to raise their voices, and most importantly, supporting the legislators and organizations that are working to change things around the world.
